BVI Itinerary Ideas

Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Join Kayachtic from Yacht Haven Grande on Saint Thomas. Once onboard you will be greeted with your favorite welcome drinks and food to enjoy while we give you a tour of your new home. Upon departure we will head for Maho Bay, Saint John. This bay is known for its world famous beach and abundance of sea turtles. Once moored you’ll have the opportunity to go ashore, snorkel with turtles, or simply relax and enjoy a lovely sunset.

Day 2

After breakfast and a quick swim to say goodbye to the bay’s turtles we’ll depart for the British Virgin Islands. Our first stop will be Great Harbor, Jost Van Dyke.  Relax onboard with cocktails and lunch before going to the infamous Soggy Dollar Beach Bar - home of the Painkiller. In the evening guests will have the opportunity to go to Foxy’s Beach Bar for a late night party if desired.

Day 3

We’ll enjoy breakfast in Great Harbor before setting sail for our lunch stop at Guana Island. Here you’ll be able to snorkel Monkey Point and relax in amazing blue waters. After lunch, we will head to Virgin Gorda and anchor in a small, quiet bay accessible to only a few yachts. If guests are inclined to have dinner ashore, we highly recommend Coco Maya here as one of our favorite restaurants in the Virgin Islands.

Day 4

After breakfast we’ll explore The Baths which are famous for their granite rock formations, tidepools, white sand beach, and amazing photo opportunities. Once back onboard we’ll depart for lunch at Cooper Island.  Guests can snorkel around Cistern Point and go ashore to check out the eco resort or have a drink at Rum Bar.

Day 5

Once finished with breakfast we’ll depart for Norman Island. If the weather allows, we’ll make a quick stop to snorkel the wreck of The Rhône off Salt Island before making our way to The Bight, a well protected bay and home of Willy T and Pirate’s Bight. Once moored, guests will have the opportunity to go ashore at Pirate’s Bight, enjoy drinks at Willy T, or relax onboard.

Day 6

As we near the end of the week, it’s time to check back into the US Virgin Islands. Before making our way to Cruz Bay, Saint John we’ll have time to stop at The Indians, one of BVIs most famous snorkel spots. After snorkeling we’ll make our way to Caneel Bay for lunch before we all dinghy to shore to go through Customs & Immigration. After clearing in to the USVI guests can explore Cruz Bay’s numerous shops and beach bars. For those interested in a perfect view to go with their cocktails, we can take a taxi up to the Windmill Bar for sunset.

Day 7

After breakfast and a final swim in the lovely Caneel Bay, we’ll head back to Saint Thomas to disembark. From Yacht Haven Grande guests can spend time shopping or have a great lunch ashore before heading to the airport or their onshore accommodation.
